About Jessi Holter
Jessi Holter is a board-certified critical care pharmacist (BCCCP) and published researcher with expertise in evidence-based pharmacotherapy, medication safety, and clinical content evaluation. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from South Dakota State University with a Doctor of Pharmacy and completed both a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Monument Health in Rapid City, South Dakota.
She currently serves as a Critical Care Pharmacist at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Previously, she held the same role at UnityPoint Health — Iowa Methodist Medical Center, where she also served as PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator.
Beyond direct patient care, Jessi serves as a peer reviewer for the Annals of Pharmacotherapy — one of the most cited journals in clinical pharmacy — and has contributed to board certification exam development as an ACCP/ASHP BCCCP and BCEMP Continuing Education Field Tester.
